Maintenance and Cleaning

STARK RFID Floor Mat Antennas can be cleaned using standard carpet maintenance practices. Regular vacuuming is recommended, with cleaning frequency based on traffic levels and environmental conditions. For deeper cleaning, a dry powder carpet cleaning system, such as the Milliken Capture Carpet Cleaning System, is recommended.

Load Capacity and Installation

STARK RFID Floor Mat Antennas are designed to support moderate loads, including hand trolleys, carts with rubber wheels, pedestrians, runners, bicyclists, and occasional vehicular traffic with pneumatic tires. To ensure performance, mats should be installed on a smooth, hard, flat surface and protected from damage caused by sharp objects such as steel-edged wheels, stone chips, glass fragments, or similar debris. Point load must not exceed 100 psi (7 kg/cm²), and the maximum distributed load on the antenna area must not exceed 1,100 lb (500 kg).
